Asher is a family-owned exterior remodeling business in Eau Claire, WI, has been providing the highest quality products and workmanship to customers in Eau Claire, Chippewa Falls, Mondovi, Bloomer, Menomonie, Black River Falls, Medford, La Crosse and surrounding areas in Wisconsin and parts of Minnesota and Iowa since 1974.
The story began in the small town of Mondovi, WI, where Mike and Nadine Asher founded Asher’s Siding and Insulation, operating from their home and warehouse. As the business grew, they moved to Eau Claire, first to a new office and warehouse on the East side, and later to a larger space on the West side.
In 2000, Mike and Nadine’s son, Chad Asher, took over the company. Having worked in business since he was a teenager, Chad gained experience as an installer and worked his way through various aspects of the business. He attended UW Stout, where he earned a degree in Business Administration, which helped prepare him to lead the family business. Asher Enterprises was born when home building and interior remodeling were added to the list of services. However, in 2013, the focus shifted back to exterior remodeling, leading to the rebrand as Ashers Lasting Exteriors. Over the years, we’ve refined our expertise inspecific exterior products, continuing to provide high-quality solutions that have built our reputation for excellence. Chad has worked hard to maintain the values his parents instilled while delivering superior products and installation techniques that have helped the business thrive for over 52 years.
In 2021, Asher expanded into the La Crosse, WI area and now covers the southwestern part of Wisconsin, southeastern part of Minnesota and northeastern part of Iowa. We have a showroom located at 9432 State Rd 16 in Onalaska, between Starbucks and FedEx Office!
We’re especially proud to announce that our Eau Claire location has moved to a new office and warehouse, located at 1654 Commercial Blvd in Chippewa Falls. This marks an incredible milestone for our family business and reflects commitment to continued growth and the best service to our customers.
