Being involved in the community is very important to Asher’s. Our vision has been to help as many people or animals as we can, and we are proud to give back to those that need our help. We donate to such organizations as Eau Claire Area School District Fight Against Hunger, The Community Table, Boys and Girls Club, Humane Association of Eau Claire and Chippewa Falls, Operation Gratitude, Firefighters Associations, Food Pantries, and Big Brothers Big Sisters in the surrounding areas.
Not to mention that we also support Night for the Fight, Joshua’s Camp, Special Olympics Wisconsin, Down Syndrome Awareness, Tools for Schools, Support the Troops, Rock the Dome for the Y, Christmas is for Children, The Bolton House, Warm the Children and American Cancer Society…just to name a few. Sometimes it takes a village, but if we can all do our part, we will succeed in helping those in need.
Fight Against Hunger
We fund raise all year at shows for different causes in need. One of our biggest fundraisers is for Fight Against Hunger for the Eau Claire Area School District. Chad is very involved with this cause. We raise money, build things they need, donate thanksgiving dinners at Thanksgiving time, help with off site fundraising outings, etc…
When we are out of town for shows, we donate to causes in or near that town. For example, the local Firefighters Associations, Operation Gratitude, Community Table, Humane Associations, Boys & Girls Club, etc.. We play Plinko or Spin the Wheel and have the customer donate a dollar to that cause. They win a prize from Asher’s and 100% of the donations go to that cause.
